Barn installation
Check out the video as we install 30 panels at the home of TerraGraphics International Foundation's founders. TerraGraphics International Foundation specializes in reducing human health risks associated with environmental contaminants and Empowered Solar is proud to be able to help them reduce their environmental impact at home.

20 panel home system
Empowered Solar recently installed a 20 panel system that covers the home's entire electricity budget. This system is connected to the grid through net-metering and excess production during the spring and fall will be used to offset consumption during the winter.

Empowered solar works with clients, HOAs, and historical district planners to develop projects that balance aesthetic interests with energy goals. We make sure the property owner has input at each step.
Historic district installation
Empowered Solar recently installed a 15 panel system on a home that is connected to Boise's geothermal network. With the addition of solar this home will be close to 100% renewable (a future switch from a gas stove to electric can complete the transition).

The combination of solar and geothermal is a great way to combine renewable resources to reach the challenging goal of 100% renewable energy. Most homes and businesses don't have access to a geothermal network, but a geothermal heat pump can be an option to most properties.
12 panel home system
Empowered Solar recently installed a 12 panel system that covers the home's entire electricity budget. This home has already made efficiency upgrades by adding high quality attic insulation, installing energy efficient windows, and switching to LED lighting.

Systems can be designed in a variety of configurations and orientations. The use of micro-inverters in systems like this provides flexibility both in regards to panel arrangement and partial shading situations.
